With well over a decade of experience in the world of small business, we know full well what it feels like to be burnt out and overwhelmed from spinning your wheels in ways that no longer serve you. We also know from personal experience that sometimes it takes someone else coming in to help lift the fog for you to see that there are ways to work smarter, not harder in your business.

Here at the Refined Business Collective, we empower small business owners like yourself to refine your work rhythms.

We help you refine those rhythms through frameworks that are both attainable and life-giving. We offer group coaching, one-on-one coaching, and one-on-one personalized brand management to help our clients feel equipped and supported in their callings.

We’d love to help lift you from the fog of burn out so you can experience the freedom that comes from stewarding your calling well.

When Ty isn’t working on her bridal or coaching businesses, you’ll find her renovating or researching her newest rental property with her hubby, cheering on her two girls, or snuggling her pups. Ty also loves a workout at Burn Bootcamp, bringing people together, finding reasons to celebrate, memes of kids crying with Santa or the Easter bunny, a crisp glass of Rosé in the Summer or a smooth Pinot Noir in the Winter, and listening to live music of all kinds.

After beginning her career in the non-profit, government, and corporate world, Ty knew she wanted something different for her life and now has 15+ years of bridal under her belt.

Ty loves to think beyond what is expected and develop new ways businesses can operate. She loves strategizing with clients to push them outside their comfort zone while empowering them to take the leap and live a fuller life while running businesses. As the co-founder who specializes in business development, Ty will work with you on all things from helping you cast your vision for growing your business, building community connections, and cheering you on along the way reminding you that you’re fully equipped.

Kristin Murrow

LEADERSHIP COACH + SUCCESS STRATEGIST

Kristin’s background includes an 18+ year career that has expanded over several industries and includes:

  • Multi unit Director of Sales and Customer service

  • Background in sales, leadership training, and HR

  • Has served in retail, hospitality, and aerospace.

She is passionate about the people she leads and has always focused on driving a positive culture and developing talent to exceed their goals. Kristin is originally from Kansas City but calls Georgetown, Kentucky “home” with her husband, daughter, and puppy, Hazel. She’s also a lover of Disney, any + all things holiday related (especially Halloween), Kansas City sports (before the era of Taylor + Travis), her adult tap and jazz classes, and, of course, a good marg on a patio.

Kristin will be coaching alongside Ty in our Leadership Collective as well as coaching with some 1:1 clients.

Sammy Blank

GRAPHIC DESIGNER + EMAIL MARKETING MANAGER

Raised by two creative entrepreneurs, Sammy grew up seeing the passion for balancing outside-the-box thinking with an ultra-savvy business sense. Over the last decade, Sammy has honed her skills in marketing, eCommerce, and graphic design throughout a variety of businesses - from agencies and startups to Fortune 500 companies. Her specialty is combining marketing and graphic design in a way that not only lands with the customer, but also drives sales and exposure for the business.

When she’s not typing away at her computer, she loves being active outside with her husband doing things like skiing in the winter and wake surfing in the summertime! She’s also never sad if a crisp, cold glass of sauvignon blanc is in her hand, especially on her back porch in Cincinnati, Ohio. YES + AMEN!

Sammy will be a part of our Social Media Collective for graphic design + email best practices. She also assists with design work + emails for our 1:1 brand management clients.
